Sound, M.C.ing, And Driving, Oh My!
July 10, 2005 11:14 pm Book Related, General, Other Work RelatedNot a whole lot to update with tonight … I finished the biography book on J.R.R. Tolkien Saturday and really liked it. Even though I haven’t read any of his books yet, I feel like I know so much about him and was once friends with him or something. When it got to the part where he passed away, I couldn’t help but feel sad. He seemed like an guy.
So now I’m trying to find another book to read still. I went to the library to see if they had any C.S. Lewis material, and sure enough they didn’t. I really don’t know what to read next. I guess I’ll just have to go buy a book. Darn it. My bank account is slowly draining…
Tomorrow is update day again on Renown. Crap. I have everything written, but absolutely nothing prepared for uploading (HTML, graphics, proof read, etc.). It’s just been a busy weekend… I’m really tired and sore. I guess I’ll be working extra hard come tomorrow morning to get it all finished on time, then maybe to go work at night (if not, then Wednesday).
Speaking of which, today was a lot of running around. Went to church this morning and did the sound for the youth band, then stuck around for a practice, then drove home and did a couple of things, then drove back to church for the evening service where I was doing the sound and was the M.C. It was long, but it was alright. Lots of fun was had. It’s just a pain that the band’s church is 15 to 20 minutes away, so it’s a fair amount of driving. But I don’t mind helping them out.
That’s what’s new with me anyway. I would type more, but I’m exhausted. Maybe the next one will be a little more interesting for you guys.
Peace, Love, and Pizza.
