To Encounter And Beyond
August 19, 2005 11:16 pm Book Related, General, Music Related, Renown MagazineTick tock… the clock slowly counts down the day as it comes to a close. Boy, am I tied. I did online Future Shop training stuff for 5.5 hours today, then I went to the actual store and worked for 4.5 hours. Now I just need to get things ready for tomorrow. Ugh, I have to get up early too.
Oh yeah, in case some of you aren’t sure what I’m talking about, tomorrow is Encounter Ontario (EncounterOntario.com). It’s a big Christian music day at the Ontario Place in Toronto, and I’m going to attend as “press” like usual. Which basically is just a fancy way of saying I’ll be working a lot of the day… fun fun. But I’ll get to see a bunch of friends who will be either attending or performing, so that’s a bonus too. It should be fun in the long run… I just hope the weather is decent.
So let’s see, what else has happened since I last updated? Not a whole lot… Work at Future Shop, Renown work here at the office (aka my computer here in my bedroom), and then on Thursday we went down to Brampton and Mississauga. I found The Million Dollar Hotel soundtrack at HMV, yeah! One step closer to finishing my U2 collection…
I also found Donald Miller’s second book, “Searching For God Knows What.” He’s the guy that wrote the awesome must-read book, “Blue Like Jazz.” So we’ll have to see how this one turns out.
I don’t really know what else to say… How are you doing? Are you enjoying your summer so far? Are you disappointed that it’s ending soon? Do you like pizza? Please, tell me.
Alright, I’m out. I’ll let you know how Encounter Ontario goes.
Rock on.
